The ESC Team has been conducting Union Leadership elections for more than 20 years. During that time, we have conducted more than 5,000 elections at convention, through the mail, and in the union hall, without a single election being overturned. In fact, ESC is the only election services company to guarantee full compliance with Title IV of the LMRDA. We also conducted the first nationwide labor union online election.

ESC is an impartial and experienced third party who manages all aspects of a union election, from design, printing and mailing of ballots, through tabulation of results. All printing is done by union shops and bears the union “bug”. Regardless of the technology used to conduct your election, all systems support totally secret ballots, slate or partial slate voting, weighting, challenge ballots, and maintain one member/one vote integrity. Our electronic services replicate election procedures established and proven during the long history of organized labor. Since many challenges arise from campaigning activities, ESC’s education program ensures that each candidate fully understands workday/workplace restrictions and the rules on use of union or employer resources. We also provide monitoring services for projects in which we are not conducting the voting.
